There is nothing wrong with the house, beyond more welcoming landscaping at entry, trees etc in the expansive front.

I agree a nice looking house ince the landscaping is done come back if you are still not happy . For me the siding color is kind of blah but not bad.

I struggle to see anything to improve. Your front doors are lovely but are kind of a dark hole on the face of the house. You might replace the dark color with a more welcoming bright color.

Thank you for your feedback. I keep wondering if I should change the trim color from white, add shutters to appropriate windows, a touch of black? We have a landscape design to install this spring, which will help.

The house itself looks fine IMO. Landscaping is the biggest issue. Would suggest you hire a landscape architect.

We did hire a landscape architect and have a plan for the front, side and backyard with the pond. We also are installing landscape lighting.

Better landscaping is key to making this home shine. Work with the landscape designer to add color and interest and don't forget to add things other than plants. Some boulders, bird feeders, a fountain, great lighting.

Every summer our town has a tour of homes and homeowners sign up to show off their gardens and landscape ideas. See if your town offers something similar or go driving around or walking around and really look at how others have made their homes feel more inviting.,

Your home is beautiful, but very large and stately. Not overly inviting. Don't add shutters or more black, tan or gray to the house.

Do add color, not only in the landscape but in the furnishings and décor on the patios.

Get colorful pots for the plants, add colorful furniture, a rug, paint the front door,

Make the front and back patios feel inviting.

NO....... To shutters. There is no room anywhere for shutters.

Leave the house alone, do the landscaping.

There's no need for "a touch of black", either
