For the wall adjacent to dining area I’d find a larger art piece with horizontal orientation. Or maybe a couple of vertical pieces. Something that you love that will be a focal point I like the blinds and it doesn’t appear that you have much wall space for drapes.

Try swapping tall bookcase with low chest. I think that wall needs something tall on it, then large art to the left. Might help if we could see the present bookcase wall.

Very nice space Sherri! Really like your colour palette & the space is very inviting and cozy! I like the bookcase wall & would remove the small chest and just hang a large piece of art like suggested above. You need a bit of “breathing room” upon entering the space. I like the blinds and wouldn’t add curtains, especially in the living room but if you want to make the dining area a bit different, then maybe try them in just that space.

I'd swap the sectional and the club chairs for a more open feel.

Hang the leaning picture on the wall centered above the little glass door chest. That is all you need. Your space is warm, inviting, and has plenty to look at already. Knowing when to stop is an asset.

I would add drapery panels over your bamboo shades to soften the appearance of the room.

It looks like that wall either needs a floor lamp behind the chair, a large plant behind the chair, or a piece of artwork over the chair.
