This is scrappy quilt number three, not counting Wrigley, since Jan.

I think I will take a break and do something a little more controlled. Wrigley 2 is waiting to be sandwiched.

I found this pattern on Pinterest posted by Doodlebugs and rosebuds. There were no pattern instructions but easy enough to work out. I had finished the quilting yesterday afternoon.

There is a quilter youtuber, named Lori Dickman, who does a lot with scraps and in yesterday’s video, she was doing this pattern. She did not say where she found the pattern but ’I knew’.

Off to the dentist.

Wow, Theresa! Another great finish.

I am really hankering to sew. My quilting machine has been packed up since I finished the baby quilts (seems like months ago!) and my sewing room has been packed for a couple of weeks. I took my machines to the new house last week and disassembled the quilting frame yesterday.

The movers are coming on Tuesday and delivering to the new house on Wednesday, so maybe in a week or two I’ll be sewing again!

I was working on Wrigley this afternoon when my foot pedal lost power. Oh no!!

I hope the pedal from my second machine will fit. or maybe it just needed a rest.

Theresa, no wonder your foot pedal wore out. You have overwhelmed it with your productivity. You’ve shown us what great quilts can be made with scrap strips and squares.

Donna, it’s hard to be unable to sew when you want to. We’ve been back home for about 10 days, and I’d love to be sewing, but between putting everything away and doing yard work, I’ve not gotten to it yet. Soon, I hope. I wish the same for you.

LOL! I was going through the photos on my ipad and discovered I made this quilt once before, two years ago. I have no recollection of doing that. Old age does things to your memory.

I think I have the foot pedal working again, yay!, but my actual right foot needs repair.

The base of my foot , that pad of flesh under the big toe, is inflamed. Now did I overuse my foot on the foot pedal, these past few weeks, or do I have gout?? Dr. isn’t quite sure which it is but I guess I really do have to take a break. A good time to clean up ’the mess’.

Theresa, I really like that scrappy pattern. It's on my not so short list of ones to make. Try increasing you water intake, that will help if it is gout.
