new shutters? door paint

Hi!
Wanting to replace shutters (very faded) with a new style and/or color. Roof color will stay the same. We also have a new 6-lite rain glass door that needs to be painted. Any suggestions--would like a statement color that is still keeping in the tradition style of the neighborhood.

Black or Forest Green are classic shutter colors. Will the new door have sidelights? If yes, I like just the door painted a color and the sidelights the trim color.
PRO2 years agokm51571 Yes, selecting a color that is similar to the body color of the house creates a very sophisticated solution not considered by many. Everyone thinks shutters should be in high contrast, but this direction elevates the appearance of the home IMO.
