This has an 'Excelsa' look about it. Does the nursery you bought off, sell this rose too?

That looks like Excelsa to me too

It is sometimes sold as 'Red Dorothy Perkins', but if not that, I do think it's a rambler of this type, very closely related.

Maree85, this looks exactly like what I got when I ordered Mel’s Heritage a couple years back. Curious if your’s also came fro Rose Petals Nursery. They had excellent customer service and offered ne a refund when I contacted them.

Whether you want a refund or not, you should let them know that they are selling the wrong variety.
