We have selected 12x24 KOBE CALACATTA VIOLA PORCELAIN TILES for the walls of our bathroom and walk-in shower. The floor will be black (basalt) ceramic tile from Fireclay with black grout. We will have black accents throughout including shower and sink fixtures, vanity hardware and window frame, toilet. Otherwise the vanity and tall wardrobe cabinets are walnut, and a few non-tiled walls will be painted basic white.

Question - what color grout would you choose for the large calacatta viola tiles? I can't find grout color recommendations from any of the places that sell the tile but most show something that looks like white (Photo #1). I did find a photo that appears to show a darker (maybe black or grey) grout (Photo #2) which seems like it could work given the other darker moody colors in the bathroom.

Any suggestions or guidance welcome. Thanks!
