Neither is "better". I have stained vanities in some bathrooms and painted vanities in others.

What look do you want?

I think the off-white cabinet with that off-white counter might be too low contrast and a bit boring. A large master bathroom can usually handle darker vanities better than a small bathroom.

I would reconsider that linen tower. They always seem to close in a space. If you need storage, maybe consider using recessed medicine cabinets. Robern makes nice ones. Mine are 24" W x 48" H and you can store a lot in them.

I would do a painted cabinet with the wood floors, unless you love being surrounded by wood. Not sure about the off-white paint. Maybe a more interesting color or a slightly contrasting shade to the countertop.

Be sure to get some touchup paint. Paint might chip a little over time.

I don't know why you would want wood floors in a bathroom. It seems really impractical.

I wouldn't put wood floors in a bathroom and I put hardwood in the entire first floor of the first house I built (including a half bath, the sunroom and even the laundry room). I've always had wood in three kitchens too so I love the look of wood flooring, but I would not put it in full baths. You've seen a bigger section of the hickory flooring? Typically hickory is much busier and stripey than the sample you show so be sure you've seen a large enough sample.

As far as cabinetry, I'd mix it up. I have two full baths with wood vanities and one full bath with a white vanity.

I'd also rethink the linen cabinet in between the two sinks. While measurements aren't posted, the sides of the linen cabinet appear to be in the sink splash zone so you'll be wiping up water drops from around the base and sides and possibly risk damaging the cabinet over time. I'd want space for a pretty tray in between the sinks.
