The shade manufacture I am using offers both low voltage and line voltage Somfy motors for their blinds. They are suggesting I use the line (120V) motor, but I've been seeing comments that they are loud and outdated and that I should use low-voltage motors for shades. Any reason why I would want to use one over the other? What are pros and cons? I can't find any useful information online about why I might chose one over the other.
