3" higher than the window woodwork and 3" wider on each side of the window woodwork. If there are other windows in the space, hang that rod so it is in line with the patio doors.

To save money, find drapery panels you like (no grommet style, they take up too much space) then see what lengths are avoiding. I like 94-96” length for this type door set up. Then get rod and rings. Then measure out full length with rod and rings and position rods so drapery just “kisses” the floor. Get enough panels that you can pull open to keep away from doors. Make sure rod is long enough to pull panels all the way to either side or in one direction. Your choice. Don’t put rod up until you have panels and can measure each panel. They will all vary just a little when hung! I lay them on the floor and switch the order around until I am happy with how lengths line up. It’s a bit tricky especially with these type openings.

I agree the rod needs to wide enough to provide stack back space to clear the door. I happen to like gromment drapes for this type of issue since they slide easily and no need for fancy pleats , clips etc. Yes you need to do some careful meaureing I have rarely encountered drapes I order form Amazon to have any mix up with the length .As for the height of the rod we need to see the rest of the space .

This seems like a question better addressed after you have added your furniture..since they seem to be mainly decorative..and would appear to cover up the light switches?
