Suggested by Bunny. Good idea; we need to count our blessings more often!

1. Living my best life with the one I love

2. HEALTH!!

3. Home sweet home

A bountiful rhubarb crop, this year. I made 8 jars each of strawberry rhubarb, orange rhubarb, and pineapple rhubarb jam, plus a few batches of rhubarb ginger scones. Yummy!

Need to bag more up for freezing, before it’s too late!

I am grateful for my family and friends, my almost 16yo dog and our feral colony. The birds that come to our feeders and grace us each day with their songs. The glorious blue sky and puffy white clouds we often see and the gulf breeze. I am most grateful for being able to see, hear and or feel each of these things on a daily basis.

I’m grateful for my faith and especially for our church, a denomination that has stood up for the marginalized in society and continues to do so; for my family and friends, and for the incredible opportunity to live in peace when so much of the world is ravaged by war.

I’m grateful for being able to stand on one foot, on the very leg I broke.

For my friends who provided for me throughout my being incapacitated. ”Hey, I’m at Trader Joe’s, can I get anything for you?”

    For good, affordable health insurance.

For my cats who have conclusively demonstrated that they can roll with the punches.

I’m grateful for my friends, family, pretty good health, a home I find beautiful, nature, living where I do (Oakland CA), enough money not to worry too much, and that Patti Smith and Bobby Weir are still playing and I can see them live. Life is good.

Some good things mentioned here! I agree with good, affordable insurance! I hear people talk almost daily about their insurance problems and I am so thankful for what we have. Also, my faith and our church, particularly our church family. We have made so many dear friends there. Friends who would come at the drop of a hat (and have) should we need them. Also, as others mentioned, the beautiful area we live in. I love the four seasons and spend much time outside taking it all in. : )

Grateful for so many things - family (including my first grandchild, a boy who is 6 weeks old), my daughter's recovery from a nasty battle with pre-eclampsia, my good friends, my health, my lovely home, fnancial stability, enjoying my recent retirement, upcoming travel and so many things.

As mentioned by others, I am also grateful for my health insurance but I a bit cranky with them at the moment. They just denied my screening mammogram that they kept reminding me to get. No idea why, I am sure it will get sorted out but what a pain. The insurer CIGNA, also just sent us a letter indicating that they will no longer be offering our plan as of 12/1 this year, we will have to change during open enrollment. Thankful that we will have other good options.

I am grateful for so much, really. I so appreciate this thread. It's easy to not think about these things, so this is very welcome.

I am grateful for my whole family (4 grandkids and even babysitting their new puppy!!), my friends,my connection to my heritage, where I live, the fact that it took a while to adjust to the move but now absolutely love it, my sense of belonging and connections,my health, my mobility, I guess I could go on and on . Now that i am retired, I am grateful that I've been able to really stop and smell the roses more and more. I love reading and am grateful for that.

I am grateful for the internet and this forum where we've all made some very helpful and sweet connections.

I agree with just about every post on here but pretty much just subsititute dog for cat- tho I'm happy cats bring so many such contentment.

I have been feeling very grateful lately for friends who supported me when my dad was sick and then passed away. I spent 24/7 at the hospital and a couple of friends just checked in on me every day. One brought coffee and donuts one morning (and she was there on the worst day, when my dad’s condition took a bad turn, and she stayed there with us and provided many hugs), another just showed up one evening to keep me company. People brought us food, flowers, and so many have made donations in his name to Meals on Wheels, where he worked from age 60 to 85.

Also grateful to DH, who has taken over most of the paperwork over the last few weeks. Of course he was also at the hospital every day but ran back and forth so he could take care of the dogs and just manage our life while I was in the twilight zone.

I am grateful that I had an amazing dad for almost 60 years, who we moved to be closer to us 4 years ago. I saw him more in the last 4 years than I would have if he were living in another state, obviously, and every single time when I left him he would hug me and look me in the eye and say I love you.

On a lighter note, I am grateful for my kids who are all adulting quite nicely! And sooo thankful that one is moving close to us after living far away for the last 10 years (including college).

    And finally:
