I'd prefer the view apartment. Looking at a parking lot is not what I'd want.

Which will be quieter at night.

I had had two different apartments, one with a spectacular view but it ended up being pretty noisy even at night. Unless it's a changing seasonal view of mountains and sunrises or sunsets I feel like you can end up taking a view for granted pretty quickly.

They're both same building. just face opposite sides. Generally speaking you have the soccer/pickelball court view and behind that is the lake...other units have a lake view premium charge and this one dosnt since it site behind the field/court. other larger unit sots above a garage.

    Heres a map as well

I would rather have a nicer view even if it meant a smaller unit.

Its new construction so its all tough to take in. still on the fence

I'm seeing a deck/balcony on the one with the lot view. While people coming and going from their cars would limit privacy there, I would almost need just the bit of outside space and I can't tell if the smaller unit has that. Understand its been a very long time since we've lived in an apartment - I'm surely older and my needs have changed. One of those is fresh air combined with natural light and not through a window.....Best of luck to you with whichever you choose.

What direction does each unit face? I wouldn’t want to live in a north facing unit because I like a lot of light.

Near parking you are going to have people coming and going, engines starting/revving and car alarms doing the locking/unlocking beeps.

Near soccer/pickleball could be good or very bad, depending on how many people use them. Have you heard the ball/racket sounds when people play pickleball? Will they have lights on the courts so people can play late into the evening?

I would not want to be near the pickle ball courts. In our town and from what I read from other towns, there are lawsuits because of the constant noise. Once quiet neighborhoods are now being inundated with courts in residential neighborhoods. So that is something to consider from a noise point of view.
