Your space isn't that large. Do you really want pendants hanging right there? I would do recessed light over the island. Pendants, on their own, do not have the ability to take a kitchen to the next level!

If you really want pendants, then look at something like the Pomfret pendant from Hudson Valley. It doesn't take up a large amount of visual space and looks really nice (my parents have 3 in their kitchen).

here me out, you dont need pendants, the majority of on looking will be from the side. you need working light, if you go hanging do one from the center with two heads on it. small subtle.

You could do three pendants that are connected to the same section you don't want them separate a person needs enough light
