To me it looks like a mix of red and white.

It can be hard to tell by looking at a picture of finished wood taken at distance. As the article will show you, red and white oak are not specific species, but rather families of species. There's a lot of variation within each family and what species (or combination of species) your flooring is made from will depend on where it was harvested and what the predominant (inexpensive) species is in that area.

The main difference is that the white oaks have plugged pores and are water tight as a result, whereas the pores of the red oaks are continuous and will allow water (or air) to flow through like little straws.

Despite their names, color of the wood can be a misleading clue.

With the degree of sapwood color variation it certainly looks like White Oak, but there may be some Red mixed in. In your second supplementary picture one can see long medullary rays on the surface. White Oak has longer rays, up to 1-1/2" or more. Red Oak's has short rays, often about 1/4". If you have questions about specific boards, post more closeup pics of the surface.
