Slide in electric range: would you repair or replace?

This isn't a new topic, but there are nuances so I'd like some opinions.

I redid my kitchen in my condo 8 years ago and put in GE Profile appliances. Last week I cracked the ceramic top on my slide-in electric range and am trying to decide between repair and replacement. The quotes for repair are around $1100 since the part from GE is absurdly expensive, and that's without any warranty. A basic new GE slide-in would cost $850, one with convection is $1100, and a new Profile is $1800.

A downside to all slide-ins these days is that they're less sleek. They have a small horizontal vent piece on the back. I might or might not need trim pieces on the sides, depending on my quartz cuts. I can't tell yet. Either way, with new one, I'd lose that nice effect of the ceramic top seemingly floating perfectly on the countertop.

What do you all think? How important is being able to say "All GE Profile appliances" when I sell in a year or two, especially since the kitchen is the #1 feature in my small place? How much would you care about the sleeker look of the current on-countertop appearance, especially with my backsplash? Actual pictures of mine are below, and pictures of current models are ones I found online.
