Don't have a floor plan to suggest anything for a layout but I would paint the wall either black or a dark charcoal in the same tone as your stone fireplace to integrate the fireplace on the wall then install a long mantel across something like this...

first i would turn your dining table 90 degrees so you have more space in that area to manuever. ps i love the color contrast of the fireplace and wall--dramatic lines.

Your home is already a beautiful canvas of neutrals and warm tones. To enhance its elegance and add a unique touch, consider incorporating one of these abstract pieces on your large wall.

Take that googfy mantel off the wall for sure. Ilke the ideas Sabriba had . We do not have any clue as to your style , IMO the DR set and the chandelier are fighting eachother and please never leave the table cloth on the table . THe DR space is quite fiite and turning the table will move chisrs visually outside the DR Art is IMO a perdosal thng and should be chosen by you and your SO you both need to love the pieces you choose. We ned ato scale floor plan to help with any furniture arrangement and you also need to give us some idea of the needs for the space . Even things like do you need to put a TV in there at all. Do a simple/accurate drawing of the entire space, add all the dimensions, feet and inches for walls, windows etc. - include the stair, that nook...all of it.

You'll get back a helpful furniture plan, sizes, a rug size too.

Life is feet and inches, what fits and what fits well. You don't want.....big boo boo's: ) right?

Hi. We hardly use the living/ dining room. we are mostly in our kitchen, breakfast knook, and family room.
