Mud/Utility Room

I need to add shelves and paint to my tiny mud room/utility room. Would love to hear your ideas and colors. I have gray ish vinyl plank flooring and builder grade cabinets. I would like to paint the walls, add a shelf, and new rug. Thanks!

That blue shipping film on the dryer console is supposed to be removed at installation.

Paint your cabinets a nice white or gray. Below install black meta brackets with wood like shelves for your detergent and sprays in nice bottles (plastic) Have fun with it!

Put a washer-width shelf, as deep as your favorite detergent container, above the washer after opening the lid to measure the clearance needed. Then add a clothes rod above the dryer for hanging clothes fresh from the dryer or putting "hang dry" clothes on it. Add a towel bar to the wall next to the dryer (up high) for soggy things or even towels.
