Ann, I finally took the camera outside today……wish I had taken it outside earlier in the season. Took 12 photos today. I need help with ID for one small hosta…..I know some one will know what it is and I will know when I read the name. Here it is below.

Thanks Debra for correcting my Patriot photo ID. I dont always remember what each plant looks like…..that and a mixed up label : )

June Fever

Christmas Tree

Forbidden Fruit

Patriot, goodness it is reverting

Sea Dream has been here at least 20 years.

Halcyon, originally one plant

Dancing Queen

Sagae……moved this monster last week. It is taking over the spot of 3 daylilies.

June……one of many here

Coast to Coast…second season here. My second of these, love it.

Sherry, Rainforest Sunrise was my guess too. All yours are looking really good. Love Sea Dream and Coast to Coast. I was looking at my Halcyon this morning and counting the flower heads….. think I counted 29-30! It’s so prolific in bloom.

Ann, bet EW will be bigger and better next year because you moved it. I love hummingbirds! What great pictures you got of the hummer and the birds in the birdbath! And what tree is showing it in the picture? Beautiful color!!

    thanks Laurie!..I hestitate when I’m out taking pictures..I see debris..weeds..flawed leaves..then I think - I’ll take pics later after I clean up..

if I wait until the garden is cleaned up or finished (which as Sherry says is never 😂) I’ll miss out on pictures..

I’m trying just to go for it..

moving Empress Wu was a good decision..if it gets huge I’ll have a perfect view of it from my kitchen!..

I’ve had a good hummingbird season..better than the garden..

my lantana isn’t as pretty as in other years..

pictures today..this shot shows the tops of Krossa Regal’s scapes..

    Coast to Coast..

    Yellow Polka Dot Bikini..

June is a good hosta for me..all of them look decent..one in front..

August Moons and a smaller one that I don’t know..

Little Wonder..the variegated ones along the sidewalk..

the mess the squirrels drop eating hickory nuts up in the trees 😱..

as you’re cleaning you can feel little bits falling on your head!..it’s impossible to keep clean 😢..does anyone else have a messy hickory?..do you ignore the mess or try to clean it?..

I still love it here 😂..

Glad you took some photos! i have some Golden Tiara with the same task as your Little Wonder, looks so nice.

Those darn squirrels…….you have to walk there. That squirrel mess reminds me of a mess my sister had……she had a mature walnut tree in her back yard. At certain times of the year they had to pick up walnuts before the lawn got mowed. Two garbage cans full of walnuts before mowing, back breaking work.

Planted two more new hosta yesterday. Another Dream Queen and Fragrant Dream, 3 eyes each.

    I get a few walnuts from a neighbor..I’m thankful that I don’t have a walnut tree..my 2 hickory trees are enough trouble..

a picture of Great Expectations just now..I removed the ugly leaves yesterday..

    your new ones look nice..

Gogeous hostas Sherrygirl. Very pristine for August. Mine are looking bedraggled and showing signs of the summer heat. Course the lack of water doesn't help mine either.
