We are buying an townhouse with two very small living room windows. The windows look out to another apartment complex across the alleyway (not much of a view but at least no one is right there either). This level is on the second floor from street level. We need light more than privacy. There's currently cheap, horizontal vinyl blinds. (Also, all that furniture is the staging furniture.) We are going for a minimalist, clean, calm, California Coastal sort of vibe. I'm leaning toward blinds because of the fireplace but what do you recommend to make the living room look sophisticated? I also attached photos of the bedrooms because you can see that the small windows is a theme (I particularly think that the bedroom window above the other bedroom window is just weird; why not do one big one? But at this point we might be stuck with that design because of the HOA.) Feel free to share suggestions for any or all the rooms.
