Pittosporum in large pots?

Have an existing privacy screen of Black bamboo in large pots (20-24")-getting crowded and messy. Am thinking of replacing with "Wrinkled Blue" pittosporum or "Silver Sheen" pittospotrum. May also put others in ground. Has anyone put either pittosporums in pots-thank you for your help.
