The water level issue is one of the main reasons I hope my 2017 SQ washer lasts indefinitely. I adjusted the fill level and am very happy with how I can tailor the level to my load size. Regarding the delicate cycle, I agree with you. My previous washer was a FL LG, and it too was TOO delicate. Tumbling once or twice then a long period of soaks. My SQ is too delicate as well-it is more of a hand wash cycle, and I would prefer more agitation instead of several stokes then long periods of soaking.

Agree. Wish I had had my old SQ repaired!!!. As far as dryers, I have only had 2 since 1984. The first a GE, and for many years an old Maytag. The Maytag dryer has never needed a repair.

kberry1889, the water level arrangement of the TC5 has been often discussed. It seems you, unfortunately, didn't do much pre-purchase research. It's also unfortunate that many dealers don't very well know the ins-and-outs of the products they sell.

Speed Queen should have programmed the Delicate cycle to run continuous agitation at low speed, and provided a separate Hand Wash cycle with intermittent agitation at low speed. Have you checked the effect of the Heavy Soil option on Delicate? Does it perhaps make the agitation continuous? Or does it make the wash period longer but still intermittent agitation?
