Looks like a beautiful setting! What colors are being considered? Can't tell if the windows are black or a bronze type of brown? I thought maybe this combination might look nice for siding and trim -

Sorry but beige in any shade in a mountain setting BORING I think a nice shade of grayed green / sage

In an effort to save your marriage.......Any shade of green would work and would also blend in with your beautiful environment. You could even do the window trim in a different color to make it pop a little, or you could add a second trim around the current window trim so that it is wider, and do 2 colors on the trim. The trim color would depend on which shade of green you go (if you like green), but there are many options. If your posts/deck need replacing, I'd go stained wood, not painted. If you did that, I might consider putting Fabricated "recycled" wood vertically on the window area (2 windows jut out area on left of pic).

As a side unprompted note, if you don't already know - I believe many Fire Departments will come out for free to help you understand your fire mitigation needs. Stunning location! Reminds me of Flagstaff, AZ.

Beautiful house, and love the gray/green. When you need a new roof, you can switch to gray and the house will look great.
