Waht flooring do you have now outside that space you are asking about?IMO all flooring the same is ideal sometimes bedrooms and bathrooms are fine different since bedrooms usually are not puplic spaces and bathrooms can be wet .I ahve no clue as to the flooring you wsnt to use so post a pic here of that in a comment DO NOT start another post.
