Kitchen island lighting

I've been racking my brain for days about this!

We are building our kitchen in our new home. Below is our plan. My question is about the island lighting.

The layout has the stove centred on the wall (moved to roughly the red box position) instead of lining up with the sink as this wall is seen from the other end of the house and the stove being off centre will bother me to no end. The island is 9 x 4 feet and the sink will be centred on the island, just offset from the stove. I can accept this relatively more subtle asymmetry. However, it seems to me 2-3 pendant lights will emphasize that the island, and thus the sink, is not centred to the stove.

So I was thinking, a long chandelier/pendant instead? Would this make it more obvious or help disguise it?

Included are photos of our cabinet faces (flat slab wood on bottoms and white thin shaker on the uppers), layout and inspo pictures. The countertop will be a quartz with some subtle brown/grey veining.

THANK YOU!
