Furniture and light placement

Hi, looking for suggestions how to complete this room. TV and couch need to stay where are due to wiring. unsure where other pieces should go. also any lighting solutions would be great, unfortunately we can’t put more lights in the roof.

Is this a rental? You can always do more ceiling lights even if the ceiling is concrete You have quite an indusrail/ modern look so some conduit on the ceiling could work As for the rest end tables , table lamps, floor lamps all are needed to really provide proper lighting . IMO some really large pieces of art will really finish the space

What are the other elements you'd like to add?

I'd put a tall floor plant in the corner (the one behind the couch) and either a console on the wall by the plant or behind the couch. If there are children, I'd put closed toy storage by the plant against the wall that is facing the fireplace and the console on the perpendicular wall. If these storage items aren't needed, an arc lamp over the couch would be nice with space available with the high ceilings. Larger art over the console, uplights on the plant and on top the console, a vase, candles, and/or other objet d'art on the console. Try to tie in the color of the plant in with another there. As some sparkle somewhere with glass (candle holder or vase) and maybe a mirror in the largest wall. Def at least 2-3 pillows on the couch

What about trying a floor lamp, some side tables, a coffee table, and some pillows. Maybe also look at adding some more plants and more art to the space.

The layout you have seems to be working, unless you're looking at adding some chairs to the mix. You might consider moving the cabinet with artwork over it to the short wall near the opening. Then look at adding some side tables, or C-tables, some lamps also might help. You could do a sofa table behind the sectional with lamps if you don't want to do lamps on side tables.
