Name That Plant!

What are these yellow flowers?

last year

My neighbor has these growing in his yard. They come back every year and he does not know what they are. They are about 5.5 feet tall and they spread. The roots are very deep and strong. He said he just lets them go and does not take care of them and the clump keeps getting bigger. We are in SW PA.

I don't see any lobed leaves. Are there any lobed leaves anywhere on the plant? Are there any disected lesves on the plant?

I believe it is one of the Helianthus such as Sunshine Daydream.
