Help with couch and curtain placement (pics included)

I am completely redoing outdated living room. Need help please! If I were to place a loveseat in front of this window how would I do so? It looks strange in the bumped out area because you would not be able to close the curtains. It also looks strange outside of the bumped out area, like it's just floating there. Where should I put it?! or put something different? Or should I change where the curtains are, or remove them completely? I included pics with loveseat both ways. That is not the furniture we will be using just using it to get a visual. There will be a couch on the left wall and pic is being taken from entrance way from foyer. Thanks for any input!

I'm dealing w the same issue. Do you need to close the curtains or are they just more for visual since you have the blinds in the window? If you brought the couch out I'd probably set a small console table behind it so it's not just floating there.

Imo, the curtains can be mounted at the window without the blinds. Or no hanging curtains and a different window treatment in place of curtains and blinds. A more decorative blind.

Similar to what is in my living room. No photos because it is SO dated I would be thrown off this board for still loving the treatment.

Anywho the window coverings are next to the windows with a sofa part way in the bump out.

The curtains are mounted in the wrong place. Get ceiling-hung rods and put the curtains next to the window where they belong.

Or, no curtains at all and replace the blinds with a nice shade.
