I have spent countless days deciding on which types of mirror for our 1st home which we are grateful to be able to remodel the primary bathroom before moving in. After measuring carefully– we decided on a 36” Mirror (Height). I finally decided I wanted a very clean cut modern *double* vanity mirror - 28x36.”

note -- (I was going to go with 30x36 but given the size of the mirror and placement of the vanity.. It would be about an inch to much to the right) ........

Here are my questions, if someone could please help save my sanity. I am moving onto sconces since I have to research this too! Thank you so much in advance.

Questions:

• 1) Is 16” too big of a gap between two double sink vanities ? — This is if I can find the two perfect 28x36?

• 2) Are there any dupes for a frameless or no bevel (flat frame) sleek double 28x36 mirrors?--Can someone please help me find one in blackwith a rounded rectangle edge ? I would be SO thankful!! I really LOVE a clean flat mirror (with none of the frame sticking out depth wise– please see inspo photos), I just can’t afford the PB one that is 499$. And Amazon brands have been scoured.. I only see them with 1” to ½” depth for my particular size..

  • My #2 Inspo Pic = West Elm — Streamlined Rounded Edge Mirror

(Both of these I love and have the flat frame to mirror edge I am talking about but so expensive)..

• My #3 Inspo Pic = Studio Mcgee’s frameless with old pivots – but I am leaning on no pivot now (see below)

3) Is it okay if one of the sconces is more on the LEFT than the other.. Not completely centered? (Planning to get two horizontal thin lights -- 24” sconces, maybe 25” max) – but the original bathroom light hole (excuse my newbie vocubulary) is centered (on the right side) and it looks like the second light I am going to get will NOT be centered on the LEFT side).. -- note: the previous owner had one very old long horizontal broken mirror, not double vanity mirrors. -- The Vanity is already placed so the contractor can't move it...just wanted opinions..

4) Are pivoting Vanities durable? Any thoughts on these pivoting mirrors? I am worried when cleaning that they will get older or be more damaged since it’s not flat on the wall and you have to press on the mirror to clean. (I think I talked myself out of it. absolutely Love the look) – See Studio Mcgee below
