Total mystery meat. What windows and where? Where is the floor plan of the build, where is the kitchen plan...?

The header is imateril without context som post the plan and the drawings form the KD so we can see the issues. Post all of that here in comments now DO NOT strt another post . Is this a new build or a reno ? Too much missing info.

Most kitchens have windows that are too short, so definitely raise the header.

Not sure what the cabinet design has to do with window height but with a 9 ft ceiling there's no reason to align the tops of windows and the tops of interior doors. The higher the windows, the deeper natural light penetrates into the house so I try to locate window heads at 8 ft.+/- with room for 10" headers. A little more cost but the light's free.

I'm not sure how the window height would be affected by the cabinet design but the taller the windows the farther natural light penetrates the space so I like to put the window heads at 8 ft +/- leaving room for a 10" header. A bit more cost but the light is free.

Mark: Be sure to check the header heights in the field.

I think OP concern is how the window will look if installed with the header at typ, height matching the rest of the house, vs. having a taller window in the kitchen with a raised header to look better between the wall cabinets.
