Help with long combined living room/dining room layout

last year

Hi all. I'd like some advice on how best to lay out the living room/diner in my new home. It's a blank canvas at the moment. My main dilemma is where to put seating and position the TV. My current ideas are to have one sofa in front of the window and one opposite the chimney breast, or to have a large corner sofa in front of the window area. The TV would either go on the chimney breast (there's no fire place, as it's been removed and boarded up) or on the wall opposite. The far side of the room would have the dining area. Aside from this, I feel like the room is going to be very open and empty. I'd like to have an armchair somewhere as a sort of cosy reading corner, but I struggle to see where that would go. Any suggestions on ways to furnish the space to make it homely and not too empty? Floorplan and photo attached. Any inspiration would be appreciated.
