Most art is to be hung at eye level, where the middle of the piece of art (middle from top to bottom) is at your eye level. I actually think because of the nature of the piece itself and because of the is space, it can certainly go higher than that, but what you have now is too high. I'd try it with the middle point of the painting hitting the bottom of the windows. Or, if that doesn't feel right, lower it more.
