Facerboard color

I have a solid old red brick house. Have a black roof and white windows and posts. I want to paint my facerboards black. Opinions?

It's fascia board.

I had a hard time finding a brick house with black fascia board and white windows. All others had black windows with black muntins.

Are there shutters on the house? I do think your windows should have some black accent so the house doesn't look so blah. This house I posted looks unfinished or plain.

House sounds like fun..how old is it? What style? I ask because you might want to paint the underlying soffit black as well.
