What about a whiter slab of Taj Mahal?

I think the counters you already have look nice.

My current countertops are black and brown only...no white. Up close, they do not match.

Look up @cpartist 's kitchen. She has a nice quartzite that is more colorful.

Jet mist granite, soapstone, Costa Esmeralda granite.

Depends on your budget too, blue Bahia is gorgeous but pricey. I wouldn’t rule out quartz as there are a lot of colors other than white, and not all have heavy fake veining.

You look like you have a bit of a country/farmhouse style, and the black/white/blue looks good. I would change the color of the island. Not sure about the rest of the space, but a wallpaper that mimics barnwood or something rustic?

Typically you paint after counters are installed but what’s done is done. So take your paint samples and floor samples and look at slabs. Lots will work and please no to a solid white. It will end up looking very sterile.
