My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Thickness of shower glass?

Hi there - gorgeous shower!! Can you tell me how thick the glass is? I am trying to do a center door with two side panels like this and my contractor is telling me I have to have a metal header across the top.

    Thank you for your kind words! The glass we used for this shower is 3/8 inch thick, and we completed the project 9 years ago with no issues since. It’s possible to achieve a center door with two side panels without a metal header, depending on the design and structural support. I recommend discussing different options with your contractor to ensure both stability and the clean look you're aiming for.
