Master Bathroom Reno

We’re planning for a full renovation of our master bathroom. At this point, I’m the designer. Please reply with designers that you like and follow on Insta or other social media. The space is uncomfortably large, and I’m hoping for a clean, mostly neutral design that includes a larger shower, and a tub. I’ll attach dimensions. Thank you.

Is the closet in the layout a linen closet or is that the clothes closet?

@la_la Girl, the closet in the corner is a linen closet. We also have a long closet that’s attached to the bathroom that is a clothes closet

So, we drew out the shower wall idea, and it was tight and cramped, which seemed like a crazy thing to create in a bathroom this size. I think I was underestimating how much space would be devoted to the flow of the shower with that plan.
We’re now exploring the plan attached. Thoughts and suggestions greatly appreciated. We would essentially be moving the closet door, and creating another closet entry point to allow for more room for the shower. We would also be moving the tub into the corner across from the shower. I’m undecided about the glass and what that would look like. Also this plan eliminates the current linen closet and turns the toilet to allow for more room on that wall for a larger vanity and storage to make up for what we would lose by eliminating the linen closet.

You have a lot of wasted space in between the vanities, and the shower and tub are a bit cramped behind the combo door. I'm not a fan of wet rooms, especially if you have the space for individual fixtures, which you do. I'd consider swapping the vanity and shower. That would give you a longer combo vanity, and much more space for both the tub and shower to "breathe."

Have you showered in a large open shower and liked it? Everyone is different but I find them coolish & uncomfortable as the steam doesn't get dense (I know someone who created a large and $$$ shower and now has a tension rod with a plastic curtain hung across across it to hold the heat in) again everyone is different and you may live in a warm climate but something to consider -- FWIW I would get the layout dialed in before looking at inspo and determining materials
