80s Hot Mess to Fab Kitchen

Keeping these cabinets. Deciding whether to strip & stain to a white oak - is this possible? - or to paint white. Changing to brushed gold hardware & faucet. Considering white apron sink. Otherwise one basin stainless steel sink. Changing oven fan to stainless steel. Installing white quartz countertops with light gray veins - would consider a convincing laminate if there is one. Sraying backsplash white. This is a budgeted kitchen cleanup project. Tips and visions welcome.

To add photo, click or tap the Photo button, circled in yellow below. From your photo album, choose the photo. It should be, I believe, a JPEG. Back on the Houzz page it will appear greyed or fuzzy, wait for it to fully load before continuing. However, I always have trouble adding a photo when I’m on my phone. Also, I use the website, not the app.
