bathroom mirror shape

Need help deciding what shape/type mirror for my master bath. Rounded, rectangular, pivot, frameless? So many options! Second pic is something like I am considering but open to suggestions.

Are you able to post another photo from directly straight in front of the center - one that shows the entire vanity (or at least more of it) with more light?

The reason I'm asking is that it appears that your sinks are centered with the doors on the cabinets directly underneath them (which is correct) - HOWEVER, your light fixtures are centered based in the open space on the wall. This is important because your mirrors/sinks/light fixtures should all line up - and yours won't.

If you are going to use two mirrors (something with curves - like oval would look nice - or maybe the one that you've shown depending upon the size in order to soften up all of the straight lines that you have already) - you really need to move your light fixtures over so they will be centered over the mirrors - or it will look a bit off. If you didn't have the tower, it would have been nice to use sconces between the mirrors instead of overhead lights - they provide better lighting for your face while using the mirror. Maybe there is more space there than it appears, and you could still do thinner sconces - but based upon the photo, it looks like it would be too tight.

OR - you could fill the entire back area with mirrors on each side that run the entire length of the wall - then you wouldn't need to worry about where your lighting has been placed.

However, it isn't that difficult to move the light fixture over a little bit in order to center it in the space.

Do you know what the size is of the area between the tower and the side walls + how wide your sinks are + how high the light fixture has been installed? Also, how tall is the wall behind your vanity? In order to size your mirrors, that would be helpful.

Go with a black framed rectangular mirror with rounded corners. But side note: do you see in your photo why I don't recommend Edison bulbs in bathrooms? Those weird shadows cast onto the wall will also be cast onto your face when you apply make-up. Not exactly the best lighting for basic grooming. Plus, they don't actually throw enough light to be useful. I'd replace those with a fixture that has frosted glass shades. You will thank me.

This mirror would not be my choice.

I don't think you have the wall space to accommodate the height.

I would still consider selecting recessed medicine cabinets for this location.

It looks like decorative frosted bulbs would work with your clear glass shades. I don't know what the T or E ratings mean in this description but something like this:

We just redid a bathroom and put in 2 recessed medicine cabinets. They are wonderful. Very practical and very pretty. We had issues with wall studs so went with Baron from Rejuvenation.
