Rose, I need to get some of those plastic canning rings, I keep throwing rusty rings away and buying new ones. (sigh)

So, I'm not the only one cleaning out freezers. I need to do something with those bags of frozen peaches and shelled beans.

Annie, how do you freeze your peaches? I froze some one year, unsweetened, and think that was a mistake.

I'm trying to make some space in the freezer too, but it's too many hot peppers and blackberries that I'm dealing with. :)

PM, I just peel and slice them, freeze them on a sheet tray, then package them up. I have 11 of the gallon sized ziplock bags in the freezer, the garden was so productive that I ran out of time. I'm going to make a big peach cobbler next weekend when Elery's daughter is here and if I have to, I'll just make a batch of light syrup and dump those frozen slices in, then can them. I've never done it before, so I don't know how it will turn out, but I can't just keep them in the freezer. I've been urging the neighbors at the B&B to use some, and they did use one bag, but that's not enough, LOL.
