$1M home look for thicker lvp or use engineered wood for a thicker flooring. A layer of underlayment would raise the lvp level. Advantech is a good product.

If you contracted for all the same plane with no height transitions they needed to take that into account and use different thickness or more/less plywood accordingly.

Many people miss these issues. Agreed. It can get pricey as well. I've know a handful of new builds whose slabs were poured to accommodate height differences.
