Entering the home stretch of what I hope will be my final kitchen reno. There is still work to be done including a window, trim, plumbing, etc. Countertops will be LG Ice Queen, will read as white. Floor is a grey slate-look tile. Cabinets are IKEA Askersund ash-look. House is a 1956 single story in Maine. Not looking to mimic MCM, but the current interpretation of that look appeals to us. The kitchen is south facing and flooded with light.

I have no great ideas for a backsplash and need some inspo! Show me yours, or others you think will work. (The galvanized tin splash currently serving is just for convenience.)
