If there are any stone quarries nearby you could ask if they do it or know someone who does. Failing that, you might ask at a funeral home or companies that cut stone counter tops.

I also make my own. Usually house numbers with the street name. Flagstone and a dremel tool...if you want a DIY project.

I would use the stone and marble fabricator at our local cemetery. He used to have his own shop in a different neighborhood and would do replacement marble and slate tops for occasional tables, other things but I see he now has a building on cemetery grounds only. I'm just assuming he does work other than for them, I haven't had reason to ask.

I'd talk to the local guy who does headstones. Rock is heavy and local avoids the shipping fees.

@jrb451....The dremel tool needs 2 speeds. You'll use "low" speed. Got mine @ Home Depot. Then the little diamond grit pads I buy in quantity from Harbor Freight. Better pads don't seem to make any difference, I go through the same amount. Flagstone is the easiest, softest stone.

I buy the flagstone. Granite....hhhmmm.....it's super hard. I can't imagine being able to make precise cuts.

There are a couple of garden centers in my area who sell things like that.

We ordered ours ( for our cat) online. Sorry, its it’s been seveal years, they engraved her name on an oval stone about the size you want. If I knew how to upload photos I would, I’m a tech idiot.
