Convert old Moen shower level to Moentrol handle

We have a 30-year-old home we recently moved into with old Moen faucets, We are replacing faucets and need a Moen model 145058 shower adapter kit replacement part that converts standard valve to Moentrol valve. Is this an easy fix? Do I need a plumber or can it be installed easily by someone with knowledge of faucets? Is this an easy fix?
