You need to not only match your island but they need to look good with everything else in your kitchen and seating area too. Can you post pics of those areas as well?

What are the measurements of the island and how many chairs do you want to place at it? The ones you have now look too big.

Can you post pictures or the adjoining spaces such as kitchen? dining room? living/family room??

What is behind the island? Judging from your pictures it looks like the kitchen is in a separate room on the right (last picture). Would this be more of a bar that's part of your living room? and we don't see very much of the style in the living room from the few pictures you've posted. Keep in mind we're not in your house to see these details.

If those barstools are in decent decent shape and they’re comfortable, I would keep them. You need some art on the walls. You could
put a rechargeable lamp on the counter there to add some warmth. Some color, you need color, and better lighting overall. A 59” island really isn’t enough for 5 barstools without cramping. Possibly using saddle or backless, but neither is ideal for adults.

Is this your only dining area? Do you have all five people sitting here and eating now? You should really allow 28 inches minimum for each stool, which is far less than you have. But, if you need to make this work, find stools with a small foot print, where the legs go straight down instead of angling outwards. The ones you have now seem better quality than what you have posted above.
