kitchen sink and stove size

I’m planning an “L” shaped kitchen with the sink on one wall and the stove/oven on the other. Would it be visually awkward if the stove is 30” and the sink is 36”? There is plenty of counter space between the two. We already purchased a 30” stove. Appreciate any insight.

Why would it be awkward? Get the size stove and sink that works for your family and fits in the space.

36" sink and 30" range are pretty standard. Were you thinking they should match in size? I've never heard any inkling of that idea.

Thank you all! Yes, I was thinking they should be same size, but we went with the larger sink.
