So you would actually be using the sink sideways? I think it could work if I understand correctly. I think you mean to say rotate the sink a quarter turn which would be 90 degrees not 25.

If the sink is in the corner, I see what you mean- that does it really make a difference which way it faces? Not really.

Yes, we only have 17" side to side and the 17" vanities and sinks really decrease in width(front to back) so thinking this way sink would be 17" side to side and 24" deep so id have a normal sink with a ledge inback instead of a teacup! Don't mind the xtra 2 inches front to back (as compared to standard vanities) as room so small you have to shut the door anyway to really use sink!!

It's this or perhaps a 17" circular vessel sink with a custom vanity that's 17" x 21" with ledge behind for faceut, toothbrushes etc

It will probably help if you draw a simple floor plan with dimensions listed. Note where the door is on the wall.

There are a ton od side mount rectangular sinks now so what this one ? Mine was bought in 2004 and came from Italy now they are all over the place .

From the drawng it looks like you won't be usiing the sink sideways after all. In a corner is just fine.

No to a vessel sink. Messy at best in powder room, much less in full bath.

If going in a corner why not an actual corner sink?

Regarding a vessel sink, I noticed the flat bottom of the sink-- which would cause more backsplash and is harder to keep clean. Rounded bowl is better for those things.

Patricia, thought that would encroach my 15" code req. Seems like 24" corner sinks have smaller bowl? Trace, this sink is 24" wide and 17" front to back so I'd be turning it 25 degrees to get the ledge in back instead of side to meet my 15" code. Maybe I'm looking at this wrong....just seems like every sink thats 17" side to side is super narrow in depth.

Look at the photo of that sink. If you install it in the right-hand corner (i.e., attached to the right wall) the 'ledge' will be at the front of the sink; the faucet will be in the left-hand, front corner; its controls will face away from you, and you'll have to reach over it.

What is confusing to me is that there is no hole for the faucet in your sink. That part makes no sense unless the water spigot will come out of the wall. So which wall will have the pipe for the faucet? That is not shown in your sketch.

Post a photo of the corner where this sink is supposed to go, please, or revise your sketch, thanks.

No, the Duravit 0685600011 sink has a faucet hole.

The one I show including the counter was 12" from the wall to the edge but was all in 24" wide so not good in your space . There are so many tiny corner sinks why insist on thiis one? .
