Its beautiful. We were blessed with 8 inches of snow in NW FL this year. Stuck around just enough for kids to build snowmen and play in it. Then it all melted a few days later.

It may be the best my construction zone has looked all year covered with deep drifted snow . A workman plowed into my flowerbed's rock wall with his snow blower, now we know where the border is. The plan was to dismantle and rework that side anyway in Spring. These are wonderful days to look over the garden and dream for what's ahead.

Rouge Royale still has a freeze dried bud like a candle flame on the tallest branch .

Amara has been bored and depressed watching from her window seat as the snow gets deeper by the minute .

It was genius my son shoveled a snow maze in the back yard for her adventures . She loves it !

In baking feats I added a splash of buttermilk to the too dry blueberry muffin batter, reduced the sugar to 1/8 cup organic, and tossed in extra Costco frozen sweet cherries . Not bad - I ate three.
