I don't know how long you've had these or how long they've been in those pots, but you'll have to be patient and remember, there is a chance the trees will fail, it comes with the territory.

If you see some of the needles elongating or new needle tips appearing in the next couple of weeks, there may be hope. They've been bare rooted and replanted so it will take a while for them to settle down and get some roots going before they proceed.

For best growth.

Keep them warm. 70-75df 24/7.

They'll make roots for a while, especially such a large pot, before you'll see much top growth.

Don't over water.

Small plants don't use a lot of water, and roots develop best when not soaked or waterlogged.

Give them as much light as you can for 12-14 hours a day.

I used a LED light assembly, 20,000 lumens, 6" above the plants on a timer, with good results.

Started these P. banksiana from seed, last day of December 2020. This is what they looked like on April 23, 2021. I hope yours do as well.

Long gone maackia. All but two, I gifted to my grandson in law.

Of the 2 I kept, one died.

The other is happily growing out in the back yard ~4ft. tall. ;-)
