Please help with bathroom decor. Shower and mirror not installed yet.

Please suggest some bathroom decor ideas for our newly renovated bathroom!m. I am thinking mostly plants and stuff but would love to pull some green color into decor as well. Option pictures are just ideas but are either way to much or just like a few things they have. Not sure how to incorporate black and whites and adding green. Thanks

I’m sure you’ve spent a lot of time, effort and money in the bathroom and these final decisions will have a huge impact. The most important thing is pulling it all together and not filling it up with small, random accessories or adding green as an accent. Create a connection between the floor, wall tile and the light wood vanity/white counter. White walls, bamboo blinds, art and wood bath needs will do that, as well as keeping it light/spa like with white towels.

Are you adding two mirrors (would have used two lights) or one large one? Before adding anything on wall by tub, install mirror(s) to ensure you have a good balance.

For starters, IMO that paint color selected for the room is a terrible peachy color.

The paint doesn't have to be this color but you have to select a better color than what's on the walls.

Those white blinds look terrible on the windows mounted in front with no faux wood valance.

Shutters might have been a better choice.

I agree with Beverly that the wall color is coming across with a peach undertone, but we are not in the room. For accessories, I would lean towards teak, wicker and other natural products. Green doesn’t feel right in this bathroom.

As RedRyder noted, greens won't be right for the bathroom. Green through plants would be enough.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate all your suggestions. I tried to match teak bamboo etc, but they didn’t seem to work. It’s hard to do woods bc nothing at all matches the vanity wood and it’s a big clash.This is what i have so far. And i have a black bathtub caddy to rest things so not on windowsill? What do you think?

Oh and the walls are a beige color that the lighting accentuates slightly butter-colored looking.

I agree that the wall color isn’t right but for a different reason. None of us can really tell what that beige is. My issue is that it’s too light. The contrast between the dark tiles on the wall and floor is very stark. The whole effect would be better with something moodier and darker on the walls.

Such a nice big bath! i think the small wall shelves feel undersized with the tall ceilings - fwiw I think it is easy to add lots small things but often in a room like this fewer but larger scale items are better. If it were me, I would replace the shelves with a new large piece of art that brings all the colors together (for plants, have just a few but have them be larger and more impactful)
