From what I have read, fairly common for MSI, not so much from the better more reputable brands. A search here will show most people who quartz have issues purchased MSI.

Resind pooling is acceptable. They can drill those out, and fill with epoxy, but whites are the most difficult to match, and it may end up looking worse than the pooling that you currently have.
