I do not have a combo but for me I would not like that if I do a load of wash I can not start another load of wash until the first load is dry. With separate washer and dryer I can throw first load of wash in dryer and then get the second load of wash started in washer. By time washer is done with second load the first load is done drying. Now if I had 2 combos that would work well.

I don't, but if space were really limited, I would definitely consider one - my understanding is that they do a good job, but are slow. Do a search - there have been discussions on them in the recent past.

1. Do you have room for a standard-width (27"-wide) washer/dryer pair set side by side?
2. Do you have room for standard-width stacked washer/dryer pair?
3. Do you have a duct for a vented dryer?
4. Do you have a 240-volt circuit for an electric dryer?

Love: space saving, set and forget, no vent to worry about, just plug it in, no gas no 220.

Dislike: clothes seem to be more wrinkled, often even if I get them out promptly, runs longer than expected, does not handle lint especially pet fur well.

Cleans fine, low static.

If you don't like having to wait to do another load, you have a need for two. Instead of doubling the time you spend now, it cuts it in half. Tosei is a Japanese brand seen in laundromats in Japan. They were recently bought by Electrolux. Maybe a combination unit could be coming.

My sister had one in her RV and loved it for her family of 4, fwiw.
