Hey folks,

I am considering planting a peach tree. I've heard they can be temperamental and not the easiest to grow, especially is regions that get late frosts. I am in one of those regions - Z5a in Southern Ontario (aboiut 30 KM north of Toronto). We alwasy get frost here well into May most years (although last year last frost was before May 10). We have even had frost as late as June 1 but that was an exceptional year. Is there an appropriate hardy peach tree for my climate or should i reconsider this and stick to apples? I am also thinking about an apricot. What varieties would you recommend for either fruit if they exist? Thanks!
